Please support our team! Paulette, Peter and Kaitlin have traveled several times with this organization and this will be the first trip for Ryan Kessler and Sasha Gunther!
This coming March we will be traveling to San Ramon, Nicaragua for a mission trip with the organization "Corner of Love". This organization brings traveling medical clinics to rural villages in Nicaragua. Each village is visited twice yearly providing parasite prevention medication, children's vitamins, medical care and medicines and other nonmedical necessities including clothing, toiletries and shoes. In just the few years of traveling to Nicaragua we have seen what a great impact these treatments have on the overall health of a community.
Traveling to Nicaragua and paying fees necessary to do this great work is expensive so we are looking for your support. We will also be collecting donations of summer clothing, shoes, and over the counter medicines to stock our traveling clinics. A portion of the trip fee goes to parasite medications purchased in bulk as well as school shoes for the Nicaraguan children. Children are not allowed to attend school unless they are in black dress shoes. Each pair of shoes we bring with us not only helps a child attend school for the year, but will likely be passed down between family members for several years.
