Dental Mission Trip to Guatemala

Hi everyone!
I wanted to give you an update of what is going on in my world and where God is leading me this year. As you know, me, my hubby and our three daughters live in Allen, Tx and I recently applied to dental school to become a dentist! Crazy, I know. I am trusting the Lord with my dreams and working hard to pursue them! I have shadowed 13+ dentists for over 250 hours and through those connections, I was given the opportunity to attend a dental and medical mission trip to San Lucas, Guatemala at the end of the month! Going on a dental/medical mission trip has been a lifelong dream of mine and I get to team up with some of the best dentists and doctors with the biggest hearts for serving others! We leave the morning of January 25th and I am so excited!
The dental team will travel to remote villages around San Lucas to provide much needed dental care to the villagers. The medical team consists of urologists, gynecologists and a complete surgical staff that will work out of the hospital in San Lucas to provide much needed surgical procedures. We will also have a construction team joining us to work on specific construction projects in the area. I would first of all love to ask for your support by joining me in prayer as we prepare for our trip! Please be mindful in praying for our safety traveling to San Lucas and back, as well as being able to pour into and help as many people as possible in San Lucas. Since this is an annual trip, I ask that you join me in praying for the strengthening of the relationships that have already been established from previous trips and for the Lord to open up doors for new ones. Please pray for lives to be radically changed and for God to use us and our gifts however He sees fit. And lastly, please pray for my mama heart as this will be the longest I have ever been away from my three girls and for my husband as he is still healing from hip surgery and will be with our girls.
Secondly, if you feel led to support financially, there are a few ways you can do that! I have had a few people reach out to me asking how they can help which is why I set up this account! The total cost of the trip is $2000.
Thank you so much for your support, both in prayer and financially. Not only with this be an incredible experience to see how God is moving and working in the lives of those in San Lucas, but I am also so excited to have the experience of using my passion for dentistry as a missionary tool. This is just the beginning of a life-long mission of mine to one day be able to lead dental/medical missions with my own practice!
