Emma’s Heart Surgery

Marisa and Tuan Pham were blessed on February 20th 2018 with baby Emma Valentina. Since day ONE Emma has been a fighter, their Warrior Princess. She was born with a heart defect called Artioventricular Canal Defect, a form of CHD that is common among children that have Downs Syndrome. At only two days old she underwent a surgical procedure for a duodenal stenosis and intestinal malrotation which confined her to the NICU for three weeks. She has had Congestive Heart Failure since then. On September 12th 2018 Emma will be having open heart surgery. This has been a difficult journey for Marisa and Tuan who have been doing their best to stay strong for their baby girl and as many of you know, medical costs can accumulate and get very expensive. Marisa is our dear friend and colleague, she has been out of work for over 7 months taking care of baby Emma. We have decided to create this GoFund me account for the Pham’s to help lessen the financial stress they are experiencing. Ifyou can find it in your hearts to help this beautiful family and their beautiful baby get through this difficult time any contributions would be deeply appreciated.
