Tuition Fundraiser to Save A Friend from Deportation

I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a friend who wishes to remain anonymous. She is struggling to pay her overdue tuition.

Like many international students, my friend was financially supported by her parents, but her parents cut her off due to financial setbacks and eventually different social views. Specifically, she visited mental health professionals to get a diagnosis for a mental disability and took medication for it in Spring 2022 which her parents disagreed with. She also enrolled in regular therapy sessions with a counsellor and learned that her parents were extremely emotionally manipulative and abusive and narcissistic. Because of these reasons, she had to cut off her family entirely and has had to fend for herself since.

My friend was not able to register for the Winter and Fall Semesters so her study permit validity is now in question. Her permit expires on the 9th of December so we are trying to help her fundraise and pay her overdue tuition (5705.08) asap.

That will allow her to graduate and submit her graduation letter to the IRCC to get her Post Graduate Work Permit. If she is not able to graduate or submit that letter of graduation, my friend will be out of status in Canada and be deported to her home country of Pakistan which is a very unsafe place for her, especially as a single woman.

She is very committed to her education and through help from friends and an emergency grant she was able to finish her degree coursework but she still needs to pay her overdue tuition in order to graduate.

She also has to apply for her Post Graduate Work Permit and a temporary resident visa and take the IELTS exam which she cannot afford to do so we added the cost of that to this GoFundMe.
