Giving back to Kathy.
Donation protected
Hey all, Kathy’s kids here. At the risk of being disowned and testing out her unconditional love, we set up this page to help with mom’s medical debt. Besides, low blood pressure is a concern so maybe this will also help keep that raised.
On the night of 9/21, mom woke up to the worse pain she has ever felt. Ambulance was called, ended up in emergency surgery as they found 4 twists in her large intestine. After the surgery, there were some complications leading her to spending nearly a week in ICU. We are all grateful to have her here still with us as this was a close one. She has a long road to recovery and is unsure about when she can return to work.
Mom has insurance but will be financially responsible for 20% of the costs. Any money raised will go directly towards this bill.
As you likely know, our mom is extremely prideful and isn’t in support of us doing this. However, it would be a missed opportunity not to give those that she’s given so much to over the years or those that care about her a chance to give because it feels good to give. Mom has been a mom to many, caretaker to many more, and a friend to countless people throughout all of her life. Hell, up until she was still working as a caretaker in an assisted living facility!
If you are able on literally any level, please consider donating.
Thank you so much from all of us “kids”,
Tim, Jess, Jella, Ashley, and Kyle
