Luis is 29 years old and just after we got married five years ago, he was diagnosed with diabetes. Luis works two jobs to support our two children and is a great father and husband. Two weeks ago, Luis began having problems with his feet and had to be hospitalized for complications due to diabetes. He had surgery on Friday and it will take Luis at least six weeks to recover.
My husband’s hospital bill was over $100,000. Our insurance will pay most of that but we have to pay a $1,750 shared cost before they will pay any of our bills. Luis hasn’t worked since he entered the hospital, so coming up with $1,750 each month isn’t possible right now. We are asking that you help us with a donation to cover the $2,470 hospital bill, which will allow him to receive follow-up treatments as well.
