<div>On March, I received a call that <strong>I had Pancreatic Cancer</strong>. I was lucky it was found in the early stages, but it still shook my world. My life, which was mainly focused on helping other people, had to be focused on me. With the flip of a dime, I joined the medical world with weekly doctor appointments and blood tests. I’m so very fortunate and blessed to have so many friends who sent me well wishes, cards, and prayers. My family has all stepped up when I need rides and support. My families emotional support is overwhelming! Many of my friends asked what they could do to help. I know that sometimes helping a friend brightens the day for both. So I thought about the best way I can be helped. There are so many stress factors that can’t be helped, like the horrid effects of the chemo, the horrendous Whipple surgery, and the fact that within a 3-day period, my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. One stress factor that can be helped is financial support. <strong>Because of the surgery and the upcoming continuation of 10 more sessions of chemo, I have no means of working or bringing in any income.</strong> So that is a way if you really want to help reduce stress that you can help. If I can survive 5 more months, my chemo will be finished, and I can go back to work. It would mean the world to me if you can find it in your heart to contribute to my fund so I can be financially stress-free. A huge thank you to those who can help and another huge thank you to all my friends for the emotional support. Love you all!
