Beth’s recovery fund

As many of you know our mom suffered a major stroke and brain bleed. This time last week her doctors weren’t very positive she was going to make it. But the fighter inside her proved them wrong.  Since last Tuesday she has made amazing strides in her recovery. She is no longer on a ventilator, she’s no longer in ICU and today with assistants she  stood for a few minutes. In the next few days our mom will be discharged and will start a long road with rehab. The left side of her body has suffered some pretty bad  paralysis. She will need to relearn how to do many things and we know she can do it. She wants to be at a Rehab hospital in Houston. Amanda is an OT at a rehab hospital in Houston and will make sure she has the absolute best care. To do this mom will need to be transported via ambulance from San Antonio. She is still too ill to have one of us just bring her ourselves. Also, medical bills will be coming in soon and with her not working puts a lot on Al. Any amount will help and we would be so appreciative. We just want our mom to have the best care and not to have to worry about anything. Please continue to pray for her as she navigates this long road to recovery.
