PLEASE HELP OUT ONE OF OUR STARS

Sadly, the WTAA has recently learned that one of its young athletes is battling cancer. This athlete is 10 years old, has two siblings and is being raised by a single, working mother. I can only imagine the fight that this family has in front of them. 
The community of Waterford has proven itself in the past to rally behind and support its own, and I am hoping that we can do the same for this young family.
Let's  show how strong the community of Waterford is and join them in this fight.  We all know what a terrible thing cancer is, it seems to tug at our hearts even more when it attacks a young child.  So, the WTAA has decided to start this fundraiser to help one of it's own get through this rough time. Waterford Township is a great community, and I'm glad to be a part of it. Please consider donating  whatever you possibly can to this good, local cause. How amazing would it be to give one more gift in the spirit of Christmas? I think we all can find a little more room on our  Christmas lists for such a deserving cause.  Please share this with everyone you know, co-workers, friends, and family and lets do something we can all be proud of!!
