Support for Kaitlin Mcdonald & Family

As many are aware Kaitlin was born with a heart condition, she was born with a congenital heart disease and has had to have open heart surgery in the first few days of her life. She has undergone 6 open heart surgeries during her 27 years of life. She developed a blood clot in her pulmonary vein known as pulmonary embolism.

For anyone that knows Katie knows that she is truly one of a kind. She is a great friend (my best friend in fact), she is funny and can bring a smile to anyone’s face that meets her, she would give the shirt off her back to anyone that needed it, she is loyal, she is strong, and most importantly she is a mother to the most adorable and loving little girl there is, Kinsley.

Katie is currently home on hospice fighting for her life as she would not be able to survive another open heart surgery at this point. Her options are limited and her life is truly in God’s hands. I am making this go fund to help support her and her family mainly her daughter during this difficult time and the uncertainty of the days ahead.

My hope is that our community will come together and help support Katie. Katie may have been born with a “bad heart” but she truly at her core has the BEST heart of anyone I know... To know Katie is to love Katie.

As if Covid wasn’t enough of a strain this year this family now has to deal with another devastation. Please keep Katie and her family in your prayers.
