Help a widow get a new home!

My name is Bee, and I am trying to help raise some money to help my very dear friend Karen to get an upgrade on her broken-down RV home.

WHO IS KAREN?
Karen is the most loving and caring woman you will ever meet, and there is no one more deserving of love and support than her! She is a neighborhood gem, has given the jacket off her back to those she saw needed it, and is always ready with a hot meal to serve you. She is a widow, has no children, and none of her surviving family lives in the state, so she is on her own. At 70 years old she is very independent however, she lives on Social Security with no means of getting something else; and she would always rather give to others instead of spending the money on herself.

JUST HOW BAD IS IT, REALLY?
She currently lives in a 1987 trailer that she’s had for over 16 years! This trailer has been well lived in, and I recently learned just how much it is falling apart. She is so happy and full of humor; you would never know that her trailer is as bad as it is.

She had the roof replaced several times but it still leaks in 2 spots, the floor is giving out and held up by plywood in her kitchen area (I think it’s rotting from underneath), her oven no longer works and now leaks propane  so she had to completely shut it off (which is a shame since she loves to cook for her neighbors and friends), her water line connections to her toilet keeps failing or disconnecting - causing more water damage, the heater and AC are non-existent (she uses a tiny 5" by 6" nail heater as her everyday heater, that she keeps plugged in on her dining table),  and unfortunately the list continues to pile up. Overall the trailer is old and in bad shape. It’s very expensive to replace everything that is broken or needs repair; most items in her trailer aren’t even made anymore due to its age, and she desperately needs either a complete overhaul, or something in better shape to live in.

HOW WILL THIS MONEY BE USED?
All funds raised will go to Karen for her housing needs. The $10,000 will go towards the purchase of a newer RV or Tiny Home that supports Karen’s tiny living.  Any funds that are raised that don’t go directly into the purchase of a new RV or Tiny Home will be put into an account for Karen to use for maintenance and upkeep of her new home. 

WHY NOT PUT HER IN A HOME?
She loves living the tiny life, and I simply want to help give her something as an upgrade to celebrate her fascinating and charming life. She is the manager of the RV park that she lives in and thrives on the interactions that she gets while helping people find a spot to park their own tiny lives.
This life keeps her going, and the last thing I want is to stick her somewhere away from all of the neighbors and friends that she has created over the years in the park she lives in. 

WHY IS HELPING KAREN IS SO IMPORTANT? 

Karen is a truly remarkable woman. She is one of the most spirited, humorous and giving people I've ever met. She has touched so many hearts and helped so many people in their times of need. My kids and I love her very much and we want nothing more than to give back to her all she has given to us and others!
