Chrissy Miller is my Mum and is the most amazing person you would ever meet, she would move heaven and hell to help everyone around her and this is the time where she needs our help.
In 2017, they found a brain aneurysm that was growing at a rapid rate and in February 2018 she was admitted for surgery to clamp the aneurysm.
Fortunately, my mum survived the surgery however she did not wake up for 4 days, when the doctors investigated further during the surgery they had moved one of the main arteries and this lead her to have a stroke. Fortunately my mum survived, but when she woke up she wasn’t able to talk properly, walk and she suffered from short term memory loss. She had spent the next 6 weeks in a rehabilitation hospital learning to walk, talk and get her memory back, unfortunately her memory is still not the best and becomes very forgetful.
The recovery rate at at this stage is 3 months but doctors are still not sure if she will fully recover. My mum had to give up work and on top of the stresses of Mums recovery, my family struggling with keeping up with the expenses such as bills and food.
Im creating this ask for help with my family in this hard time to help get some money together so they’re able to keep paying bills and keep food on the table, because unfortunately Centrelink and other avenues we’ve tried have all been rejected.
