A close friend of our family is going through something absolutely horrible to even imagine. Single father and beginning entrepreneur had everything going in the right direction. He bought a cozy little place he was going to turn into a forever home for his children and himself. This house was not move in ready at all. He used every last dime on materials for this home. For the past several weeks I have been helping him get their home looking and feeling like home so that they could finally move in to a place of their own. This week was going to be the last week of working on it so it was move in ready to where he could do the finishing cosmetic stuff while living in it. Tonight as my friend was leaving my mother in-laws house he received the worst call anyone of us could get. He was told the home he has had and been working on for three months is currently on fire. He raced there (outer edge of town-Rosedale) and when he arrived the damage had been done. Every last dollar, every ounce of energy, late nights......all gone in a matter of minutes and seconds. Though he did not have any of their belongings in the home, he had every last dime in that home. He also had all the tools that he used for his business in this home. With his tools now gone, he has no way to immediately go back to working for himself. We are asking for any amount of donations that anyone can spare. If anyone needs it, it is him and his children.
