Starbucks Card for Cara Jennings

While working on her laptop at a Florida Starbucks, Cara Jennings confronted Governor Rick Scott over his refusal to support healthcare access to some Floridians.  She was passionate in her confrontation, speaking truth to power.  Some of her language was a bit racy but her points were spot on.  Rather than stand and defend or discuss his position, the governor left the store without his coffee.

I am one of a number of citizens who are proud of this lady for standing up for the disenfrancised against those in power whose policies deny them the dignity of access to healthcare and other services.



We just want to express our support and gratitude to this lady by getting her a $100 Starbucks Gift Card.

I have no association with Ms. Jennings aside from having seen her challenge to Governor Scott.  Any funds in excess of the $100 goal will be donated to the Community Food and Outreach Center of Central Florida.
