"William Reginald Terry Cancer Relief Fundraiser"
As some of you are aware, challenges are laid before us that at times seem insurmountable. One of our own within the Northern Virginia area Ques of Pi Lambda Lambda (PLL) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has a young son, William Reginald Terry that was diagnosed with a soft tissue blue cell sarcoma cancer. He went through treatments of chemo, our brother, Reggie Terry and his wife (Mikki Terry - Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.) were notified that this cancer became extremely aggressive. William was assigned a different protocol of chemo, radiation and surgery which will required hospital visits of 5 or 6 days at a time which was quite tasking on William and his body.
This was William's second fight with cancer. He persevered through his first battle and he is now at the end of his second. We the Brothers of PLL and the Terry family have unwavering faith in William's continued recovery and are prepared mentally for what God has in his plan.
William was recently cleared of all cancer but is now facing another challenge. Unfortunately, the harsh affects of the chemo therapy have had taken a toll on young William's leg. Doctor's recently informed the Terry family that William's leg is not healing to the degree it needed to and will be amputated.
We, the PLL Chapter have created this donation page soliciting your help via donations to this web page. Request your help in support of the theory, "It takes a village to raise a child." Right now, William and the Terry Family need our village. Additionally, we are seeking funds to support William's need for a prosthetic leg purchase and additional doctor's appointments. The Terry Family is looking for any and all support that anyone can bring forth to help ensure William receives the necessary care.
