Hi , my name is Flori and together with you I want to help Alina .
Mother of 5 children, has no one, she has converted to islam and unfortunately her family does not support her! Allah ﷻ in the sha Allah will not forget her. Our sister's husband was the only one who brought a bread home and paid the rent and the children's school. Now she ran out of help, her husband has a brain, lung and nose-pharynge tumor and no health insurance so they have to pay a very big bill and don't have any money for it.

February 2021: it happened to our revert sister from Romania, Alina Nicoleta Pena. Her Syrian husband, Ibrahim Aboud Al-Hamidi initially thought he had a sinus infection, having severe headaches on and off until he wasn't able to work anymore.
They met in Cyprus in 2008 and married at the mosque the same year after Alina converted to Islam. In 2009 they decided to move to Syria, in the hometown of Ibrahim and lived there for 10 years. Their first 2 children were twins, Muhammad and Aya born in 2011. Then came Yasmine in 2013,Ahmad in 2015 and finally Khadijja in January 2018. The lived happily in Taj Al Sultan for the first 3-4 years with Ibrahim working on and off in Lebanon and also running a restaurant and a corner shop in Syria. Then in 2011 war broke out and the life became more and more unstable and dangerous. By 2017, they were surrounded by fighting with air bombings all around. They fled ending in a Waseeta Camp near the Syrian/Turkish border. They were there for almost a year and a Romanian film crew featured them on a short documentary which can be seen on YouTube : https://youtu.be/WubWnrO8lP0
They knew they have to leave Syria and felt it would be the best for them to go to Romania and get the children properly documented with European Passports so in 2018 when they finally had the permission to leave the camp they went to Turkey and then fled to Romania. It took them almost a year there to get and organize the papers and the children were unable to go to school. Alina and all 5 children have Romanian Citizenship, Ibrahim has a temporary permission to reside and is still considered a Syrian citizen.

They realised that in Romania they had no opportunities for work and the children unable to speak the language or to go to school. They decided in 2019 to move to Cyprus for a better life.
Since arriving in Cyprus the family found a one bedroom house in Pano Palomedia and the children began learning Greek, faced bullying in the school for their clothes and status. Ibrahim had been working odd jobs here and there and was trying to get something more stable in order to start paying social health insurance and to officially register as a citizen.
From December to February 2021 Ibrahim was in various hospitals in Limassol and Nicosia. What was initially thought to be a sinus infection, was diagnosed as a large inoperable brain tumor which spread to lungs and nose by now. The chemotherapy and treatment bills raised up to 4885,60 euros in 3 months and they have no medical coverage and no finances to privately pay...

They are really in desperate need of any kind of help and they would be so very grateful for it.
