Wren's Warriors

2.5yr old Wren is facing a hard battle. On or around December 21st she began to feel sick. Over the next week and a half her amazing parents had her in and out of differnt doctors, urgent care and ER's. December 29th they sent her to STL Childrens Hospital. She was admitted and the race to understand what was happening to this sweet baby started. Finally doctors diagnosed her with an infection in her blood. The infection had caused significant damange to her Right knee, right thigh and left hip bone. Since then she has been on a very long road trying to get to recovery. She has had 5 plus MRI's, 2 surgeries each several hours long. She had to have her bones drilled out to remove infection and dead bone. The doctors made it clear that she was days away from it being terminal. She is in unimaginable pain. Once she is finally clear of the immediate danger and discharged from the hospital she will need to be on 8 weeks of IV antibiotics at home. Her parents have both had to take time away from work and their other two children in order to care for sweet baby Wren. Even with insurance the medical bills, travel, food, medicine expense.. so on will be astronomical. It is still unclear what long term effects this could have on her. She has an extremely long road to recovery. We are thanking God everyday that this sweet baby is still with us. I'm asking for continued prayers.
