Wren's Emergency Surgery

Hello everyone! I'm trying to raise money to cover the additional costs related to Wren's FHO surgery he had following his accident.
For those who don't know, my wife and I were on vacation to celebrate our anniversary when Wren got out and was run over by a car while under the care of family members. Fortunately, my brother in law was quick to react and with the help of my mother in law was able to get Wren to the emergency vet quickly where he got the immediate care he needed and a treatment plan put in place. X-rays determined that he had a totally dislocated hip, and that the best way to repair this was via FHO (femural head ostectomy) surgery, which was done yesterday 12/18/2020. The surgery itself went perfectly and our boy is now home resting and being spoiled, as it should be. Unfortunately, the procedure incurred some additional costs that we were not anticipating and we are having some difficulty covering these expenses ourselves. Wren is Geneva's heart dog, and the whole family was wracked with guilt immediately following the accident knowing how much he means to us, but especially her.
He didn't have the best life before we welcomed him home. He was rescued first from a hoarder and taken to the city shelter. He was then placed on the Euth list, when the rescue we adopted him from picked him up and saved his life with only minutes, literally, to spare. Two wonderful volunteers from the rescue then spent 5 hours each removing ticks from his poor little body, before placing him in a foster home and treating him for parasites. 3 1/2 years later, he has learned to trust, loves to cuddle with his human momma, and has made a 180 degree turn from being a stubborn and independent pupper to strong willed but sweet and alert. We are thankful for his stubbornness at this point, because we are sure that that's the reason he came out of this relatively unscathed. Aside from the hip, he sustained only minor lacerations on his legs and the top of his head. As unfortunate and this incident was, it could have been so much worse. Now, we are just asking for help to close this latest chapter.
