WPI Club Tennis Nationals Trip to Rome, GA!
Donation protected
Hello everyone, WPI's Club Tennis welcomes you and encourages you to read our story! WPI Club Tennis members strive to be active and engaging in their community. Currently having over sixty active members, the club takes part in various campus and community involvements, spanning from orchestrating and partaking in a yearly Tennis Tournament to benefit St Judes Children Cancer Research, to providing Shrewsbury High School's Tennis team free clinics and lessons. WPI Club Tennis's participation on campus was recognized by the United States Tennis Association of New England. Our team was offered an invitation to attend the USTA New England National Tournament in Rome, GA! This invitation marked the first time in WPI Club Tennis history that our team has made it to Nationals. Nineteen Club members will attend this trip, and traveling with such a large group requires extensive planning and funding. Having such an extraordinary opportunity, the tennis club has been preparing and practicing for our departure to Georgia on April 3rd. The club has been fundraising extensively on campus through bake sales and innovative table-sitting initiatives. We are now reaching out to our family, friends, and community. Every donation thoroughly helps our club as a large part of this trip is being funded by the club members themselves. Thank you for taking the time to read and learn about the WPI Club Tennis team and its members! And again, every donation, no matter how large or how little, is endlessly appreciated by our club!
