Cambodia Expedition
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Poppy, I'm 14 years old, and I'm on a mission to make a significant impact! Next year, during my summer holidays, I will be embarking on a 4-week expedition to Cambodia to assist in environmental conservation efforts. This journey isn't just about exploration—it's about contributing to a global cause and helping some of the most underdeveloped communities in the world.
Why Cambodia?
Cambodia's stunning landscapes are matched by the challenges many of its communities face—from deforestation to pollution. I'll be working alongside local leaders and other volunteers on projects that aim to restore natural habitats, implement sustainable agricultural practices, and educate local residents on environmental protection.
My Mission
The goal of this expedition is to leave a positive footprint on the environment while fostering an exchange of knowledge and culture. We will be involved in various activities, such as planting trees, setting up recycling systems, and teaching children about the importance of conservation. By participating in these projects, I hope to help create a more sustainable environment and a better future for the villagers.
Why I Need Your Help
Participating in this life-changing opportunity comes with costs that include travel, accommodation, supplies for the projects, and support for the local organisations we will be assisting. Your generous donation will not only support my participation in this important work but also contribute directly to the environmental efforts in Cambodia.
Every little bit helps, and your support means the world to me and to the communities we will be helping.
With your help, I can take part in a truly transformative experience that promises not only to grow my understanding of global environmental issues but also to instil a lifelong commitment to advocacy and action.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and belief in this cause.
