<div><strong>SYNOPSIS:</strong>

</div>

<div>In a world consumed by apathy and haunted by entities that feed on human emptiness, Harley, a young man scarred by the loss of his mother, works within the company that executes the infested. When he gains the chance to confront the source of this plague, he must journey into broken minds and face the darkness within, hoping to break the cycle before he is lost himself.

<div>This film takes place in a bleak alternate reality, neither in past nor future, which exists in its own isolated bubble. An apathetic world devoid of faith and friendship, where people live disconnected and struggle to survive a rapidly growing plague of paranormal condition known as INFESTATION. Infestation feeds on its people's despair and trauma, latching onto its victims, the infested, with the aid of paranormal entities that live in the shadows. This causes distortions in reality around them and makes infested environments highly dangerous. The government thus responded with the establishment of the Paranormal Anomalies Control Center (P.A.C.C.) in an effort to contain and combat infestation. P.A.C.C. agents enter infested spaces, eliminate the source, and clean up to restore the space back to its original state. Most people live disconnected and have become unable to conceive of any better life for themselves or a reality beyond their current existence, which makes the citizens of this world highly susceptible to infestation. Our main character HARLEY, with the aid of his close friend NICO and a mysterious benevolent entity known as BIFROST, are on a quest to find the cure to infestation and to hopefully put people on a path to a better world.

<div>We have officially started pre-production on the film and are in the process of hiring crew, auditioning actors, and securing locations. We currently plan to start shooting in February in Stockholm, and we need your help to make it happen! We require more funding to get the actors and locations we need, as well as props, costumes, equipment, etc.

<div>Director - Nicola Roberto Belmont, a visionary young filmmaker from Peru. Nicola has plenty of experience shooting and directing short films, and WOUND marks his début feature!

<div>Cinematographer - Ella Jade Boberg, a multi-talented filmmaker with a unique eye for striking imagery and storytelling. She has worked on a wide variety of films across various roles and had just wrapped principal photography on another feature she produced!

<div>First Assistant Director &amp; Producer - Annalisa La Spina, a hardworking and hilarious Italian filmmaker, and a brilliant screenwriter and director in her own right. She will keep us honest and on our toes!

<div>Producer &amp; Set Designer - Leah Louise Waraas, a bright Norwegian star with much experience as an actor in both theatre and film. She will make the world of Wound a reality.

<div>Producer &amp; Script Supervisor - Hadi Machlab, a German-Lebanese filmmaker and voiceover artist with big dreams. He specializes in directing and editing films.

<div>All of us met and graduated from the same filmschool, Stockholms Filmskola, and became something of a dream team ever since. Of course, the team is still growing, with many more roles to be filled!
