W przeciągu 6 godzin uzbieraliśmy naszą pierwotną kwotę $800! Nie możemy ogarnąć, że doszło do tego tak szybko - jesteście wszyscy wspaniali! Zarówno Ci którzy wpłacili oraz Ci którzy udostępnili naszego linka na swoich profilach oraz wszelakich grupach. Podnosimy poprzeczkę do $1000! Czego? Będzie wtedy nas stać na kupno alkoholu na Finał i być może zatrudnienie firmy cateringowej. Tak jak wcześniej wspomnieliśmy, niewykorzystana kwota zostanie dodana do naszej puli w dniu Finału, 14 stycznia, 2018.

We've raised the initial $800 in just mere six hours! We can't fully comprehend it - you're all wonderful! Equally, those that donate & those that share our GoFundMe link far & wide. We're raising the goal to $1000! Why? We'll be able to purchase alcohol (beer, wine) for the Grand Finale & maybe hire a catering company. As mentioned before, we'll donate the remainder of the funds towards the amount raised on the day of the event, January 14th, 2018.

Udało nam się stworzyć mały, ale pełen zapału Sztab, któremu nie brakuje pomysłów i energii do działania. To czego naprawdę nam brakuje, to wsparcie - sami nie zorganizujemy tego Finału. Potrzebujemy sponsorów.
Dlatego chcielibyśmy z całego serca poprosić o Waszą pomoc. Razem możemy działać dla wspólnego, pięknego celu - wyrównania szans w leczeniu noworodków.
Pytacie się pewnie: “Jak to? Dlaczego potrzebujecie pieniędzy na zbiórkę pieniędzy?" Dwa słowa: koszta organizacyjne. Polish Club udostępnił nam swój lokal za darmo na dzień Finału - bez czego nasz Finał nie byłby wogóle możliwy - ale musimy tak czy siak pokryć następujące wydatki:
• Wynajem ekipy sprzątającej (wymóg lokalu), $150
• Ochrona na okres wydarzenia (wymóg lokalu), $250-300
• Materiały promocyjne (plakaty, ulotki, baner), $50-$200 (zależnie od ilości) // część dostajemy z Warszawy za darmo
• Jednodniowe pozwolenia na serwowanie alkoholu, $25
• Koszulki dla wolontariuszy, 10 sztuk = $200 // im więcej koszulek tym niższa cena
...i wszelakie inne mniejsze wydatki, które uzbierają się przed Finałem. Przez ostatnie dwa tygodnie wysyłaliśmy masę emailów do przeróżnych firm, ale nie byliśmy w stanie znaleźć sponsora. Dlatego musimy się zwrócić o pomoc w Waszą stronę. Inaczej będziemy musieli zrezygnować z niektórych rzeczy, nawet spłacać rzeczy z własnej kieszeni, a to przekładałoby się na bardzo skromną ofertę w dniu Finału.
Mamy mega-fajne fanty na licytację, wykonawców, którzy chcą Was rozruszać, oraz różne inicjatywy podczas Finału. Wszystkie jednak zależy od pokrycia pewnych kosztów.
Każda nawet najmniejsza zrobi tutaj ogromną rożnicę! Nasz sztab to zaledwie 10 zangażowanych i zaprocowanych wolontariuszy. Dla porównania, sztab WOŚP-u w Chicago ma ich ponad 85!
Pomóżcie, aby Kalifornijczycy poznali smak polskiej wspólnoty i hojności. Dziękujęmy.
P.S. Jeżeli przekroczymy nasz cel $800, reszta kwoty zostanie przekazana w dniu Finału, 14 stycznia, do uzbieranej przez nas puli.

We’ve managed to establish a small but full of fervor outpost, which doesn’t lack ideas nor the energy to act. What we do need at this point is support to ensure we can pull it all off. We need your help by becoming a sponsor!
Together we can work towards the beautiful & noble goal of raising funds to ensure equal access to pre-natal healthcare for newborns in Poland.
“Wait a sec! You’re asking for money to raise money?” you ask. Two words: organizational expenses. The Polish Club, a Polish cultural center in the Mission, was kind enough to give us the venue for the day of our Grand Finale - without that we wouldn’t exist! - but we still have to cover other various expenses:
• Hiring a cleaning crew (venue’s requirement), $150
• Security for the event’s duration (venue’s requirement), $250-300
• Promotional materials (posters, postcards, baner), $50-$200 (depending on the quantity)
• One-day alcohol permit license, $25
• T-shirts for volunteers, 10 pieces = $200 // the more we order, the lower the price
… and other smaller various expenses that will add up before the Finale. For the two weeks, we’ve been sending out tons of emails, making phone calls & reaching out via Facebook to various businesses & supporters, but we still weren’t able to find a major sponsor. That’s why we need to ask for help via GoFundMe. Otherwise, we’ll be forced to foot the bill & *heavily* slim down our event.
We have unique items to auction off, cool performers waiting to rock the stage & other various activities lined up for the Grand Finale (day of). It all depends, however on covering costs.
Any amount makes a tremendous difference to us. Our outpost consists of just 10 engaged & hard-working volunteers. For comparison: the WOŚP Chicago outpost has 100 of them!
Please help us out so Californians can get a true sense of our tight-knit Polish community & it's generosity. Thank you.
