In this pandemic I have become aware of two orphanages wherein children are underserved & in desperate circumstances. They need basics such as food, clothing , school supplies & fees. I have given what I can, but the need is greater than I can help with alone. One of the orphanages is God's Mercy Children's Care Foundation in Liberia run by George Christopher, & the other is in Pakistan run by a Sunday school teacher Angla Suamara. I have contacted several large ministries on their behalf & get the same answer: in the pandemic they are overwhelmed & helping all they can & cannot take on any others. Also when I have wired what little money I have, wiring fees are expensive: $8 for $50 or more Walmart to Walmart. I've tried mailing supplies & not only is that prohibitively expensive,it also takes two months to reach the orphanage. George & Angla are doing a great work & some days they text me that they are discouraged. Both Liberia & Pakistan are dangerous areas for indigenous people & worse for foreign missionaries. I am also hoping Angla & George can improve building conditions. George would like to teach his children to farm chickens in order to be self supporting. Angla has developed creative teaching methods despite being limited by poor tools & supplies. All the children would love to be adopted into loving families, but this also will take funds for getting the word out. Please help. Any amount will be sent to George & Angla. It's not the children's fault where they were born or the continuing disadvantage they find themselves in. Thank you for your consideration.
