World’s Competition in Detroit, MI

This past weekend, the Lane Tech College Prep Varsity Robotics Team won the Central Illinois Regional Competition and qualified once again for the FIRST Robotics World Championship!! This is Lane Tech's 3rd World Championship appearance in 6 years! During the Central Illinois Regional, the team also set the Illinois High Score by contributing to an earned score of over 600 points in a single match! The team moves on to the Midwest Regional Competition in Chicago, however regardless of their performance in that event they have clinched a spot in the World Championship!

In addition to covering the $5,000 Registration Fee for the World Championship, X-Machina also needs to raise money to help pay for hotel and transportation accommodations.
