To the People,

The greatest irony is this: To truly live, you must die. To be the best you, you must be less you and more of Love. In fact, isn’t that why Christ was proven to be God, because He was 100% pure love at all times towards all people? After all, God is Love. Would you like to discover the true purpose of Life in its purest form as God created it to be? It is very simple, though very complex.

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets”  (Matthew 22:36-40).

The purpose of human life is to love God with every fiber of energy in your heart, soul, and mind, perpetually bask in the euphoria of God’s Love, and share that same Love with every person you come in contact with. So many of us spend our days striving and stressing towards social ideals and statuses that will, in the end, leave us feeling empty. For more on this topic, let us reference the words of Solomon, a King renown for being one of the wisest men ever and one of the wealthiest rulers in history (which makes him a lot smarter and wealthier than we will ever be):

“I, the Teacher, have been king over Israel in Jerusalem.

I decided to carefully and thoroughly examine all that has been accomplished on earth.

I concluded: God has given people a burdensome task that keeps them occupied.

I reflected on everything that is accomplished by man on earth, and I concluded: Everything he has accomplished is futile – like chasing the wind!” (Ecc 1:12-14)

“Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind” (Ecc 4:4).

“He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity” (Ecc 5:10).

Even the Messiah, after fasting in the desert for 40 days, was tempted by Satan with the perishable offerings of this world.

“Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”              (Matt 4:8-10)

Just like Christ, who was a human as we are, we are tempted every day to chase “the kingdoms of the world and all their glory”, but they are not ours to have. All that you see, money, gold, cars, mansions, and earthly kingdoms, are mere vanities placed as distractions to remove our focus from fulfilling our true purpose in life. For everything that can appeal to our fleshly senses fades, but what is of God is spiritual and echoes throughout eternity.  Moreover, this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”  It was Christ that also said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

For these reasons among many, having been reassured in an array of ways through prayer, I have decided to sway from the traditional path and dedicate my life to sharing the Love of Christ to the entire world! I will be spending August 2017-July 2018 on the World Race through Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational missions organization that focuses on discipleship. I will be traveling to 11 different countries over 11 months sharing the truth of the Gospel in multiple different ways including working with orphaned children, planting churches, feeding victims of natural disasters, ministering to those trapped in prostitution due to human trafficking, building homes, teaching English, and many other things, all while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  These countries include:

·         Spain

·         Morocco

·         Egypt

·         Israel

·         Jordan

·         Cyprus

·         Kyrgyzstan

·         Kazakhstan

·         Turkey

·         Mongolia

·         China

In these countries, I will be working with pre-established organizations that have already spent years cultivating relationships and learning the cultures of the communities to which we will be ministering. The only belongings that I will have will be what I can fit into my backpack, and the only guaranteed accommodations will be a tent that I will have with me. With the favor of God, I will leave in August of 2017 and will come home in July of 2018 with a new perspective and fire that I can use to spark our communities. I am so excited to see how God is going to work in me and through me this next year, all while discovering how He is already displaying His unfailing love in these many places of need.

I cannot express my gratitude for Christ’s calling in this adventure and I have no doubt that when He calls He also provides. Family, firstly, I want to ask for your prayers. The knowledge that a lot of you have already been praying for me and my family constantly has been a tremendous blessing and seed of peace in my life. For someone to take time out of the busyness of life and specifically remember to speak to the Creator of all things on my behalf, is not something I take for granted, and I sincerely thank you. This being said, I ask that you continue to pray for me and my loved ones even more as I embark on this new journey because along the way there will be days of testing, hardship, and spiritual warfare that can only be met with prayer. Humbly, I am asking if you would consider partnering with me in the form of financial support as well. In order to seize this opportunity, I need to raise $18,017, which will cover all of my travel expenses, food, and shelter for 11 months. While that number may seem daunting, I would like to express that every little bit is a huge blessing. If 500 people were moved to give only 40$, this vision will become a reality. While your contribution will help meet my physical needs on this Missions trip, what this money is really being raised for is so that people across the nations may be served as Christ served and loved as He loved, and by praying with me and/or giving financially you also become a part of this amazing work.

“So He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, 30 who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.”          (Luke 18:29-30)

If you would like to make a contribution toward my trip, you can do so a couple different ways:
