Dear Family, Friends & Beloved Fellow Toastmasters:
If you are reading this, chances are our lives have crossed in some way.
As you may or may not be aware, I have been very blessed with the opportunity to compete as a semi-finalist representing District 12 in the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking on August 22, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
If you have ever been inspired by one of my speeches, learned something helpful you didn’t know before, were encouraged to take action, or simply believed I can make a difference in people’s lives, please consider being part of this amazing journey by offering a donation to help offset the costs of traveling and competing overseas. Your support will be much appreciated as Toastmasters only pays a small percentage of the overall expenses.
Though asking for support has been difficult, the outpouring of support already given has left me humbled and speechless. It has also shown me that the community we share is powerful, generous, and values positive messages.
