World Championships Sweden 2019

As of today, I am 8 weeks away from representing Team GB  at this year's International Powerlifting World Championships held in Sweden. I will be competing as a senior in the 57kg weight class on Wednesday 12th June 2019. In November 2018, I competed at the European Championships in Lithuania, my first 'big-time' comp where I managed to win Bronze, narrowly missing out on 2nd place. I am hoping to do just as well and secure a podium place on the biggest stage of them all!

I am so excited to be on an international stage again, alongside the best of the best ready to put up the best performance I can on the day.  However, this is largely a self-funded sport and it is a very costly experience! As I'm still a student and can only work part-time, it is quite the challenge to accommodate for all the expenses that come along with competing abroad.

It has taken some convincing but I have finally decided to create this page, to politely ask for some help with this stage of my journey. If you would like to and are in the position to do so any gesture to help with the financial cost would be highly appreciated.
