As 99% of you would agree the Current World Darts Champion has been treated appallingly by certain individuals. He has been denied a full payout of prize money, A mere £77k short because of mismanagement within the organisation. And now he has the Trophy taken away from him by Police at his home.
let’s get the darting community together and raise some money so that Wayne can have a replica made so when the World is in a safe place , allow Wayne to travel to exhibitions with the trophy to try an have some recompense of what he has lost.
let’s all get behind Wayne
If there are any pennies left over after we have made a replica then this should also be given to Wayne

As you all know since Fridays news about the World Championship Trophy.
I set up a Go Fund Me page to hopefully get enough pennies to create a replica trophy to hand back to Wayne Warren.
The response has been unbelievably amazing with so many people donating.
Well today I have had a long discussion with Wayne Warren and he is so appreciative and thankful to everyone that has donated to the fund.
He is also mindful of the fact of why he should have a trophy to keep long term.
That was never he’s intention, he just wanted to have the trophy in his possession as the current World Champion until such times when it could be passed on to the next Winner, which in turn would allow him to hopefully take the Trophy with him to a few exhibitions etc.
He has said the idea of a replica trophy is amazing and yes he would like to keep it until such time that a new world Championship takes place.
But he strongly feels that he shouldn’t have the right to keep it long term and should be passed on in the future.
As no one is aware with what will happen in the future,
One thing we have agreed on is that this trophy should be used for the good of the game.
So when the time is right it will be offered to a governing body to use in a way they feel fit.
Who knows what the future holds but we will assure you the right thing will be done.
If more money is raised than is needed to create a replica it was Wayne’s idea that the difference shouldn’t go to him but should go to a charity that has been close to many hearts in the world of darts.
And that charity would be The Heart of Darts.
I have had contact with someone about an exact replica and although it’s possible to do we cannot put a figure on a replica until later in the week as he needs to speak with the manufacturer.
But a safe figure would be around the £2k mark
We will be very open and keep everyone up to date with everything we do.
