Working to Make Athletes Greater

Good day everyone.

I'm Coach Jon Berryman. I have been coaching youths for over 15 years even since I was still an athlete. On that, you can may relate.

I've started this campaign with these young actors and athletes with the express target to get them active and prepared for action roles and generally prepared for athletics during Quarantine 2020. While getting prepared with information, I found I knew more than I thought and could help these young people not just stay active but also increase their quickness, speed and power while also influencing positive character development. 

We have taken a loosely plotted path so far, as I made sure to take the first few investments myself. We have refined our work week after week to the succinct team of athletes you see regularly at our local park.

The investments were made in getting the workouts from sources I trust, working myself to get exercise nutrition certified, CPR/AED Certified, and certified personal trainer. My next two certification courses on schedule to become strength and conditioning certified and youth athletics certified. 

This fund is not to replace what I've spent. I would like to make the time I have with these young athletes more worth it for their results and record of feedback. I have had requests for highlight video, social media pics and video, better data tracking on speed, verticals, and quickness and so on. 

I'm looking to become a bit more tech savvy with video for those wanting the re-postable content and have found some tracking software that will track our videos much better with
smart technology that is valuable for our purposes.  Our equipment will also be getting an upgrade as our abilities have increased as a group. I also want to put in a bit more investment for the athletes altogether in data tracking for speed, agility, quickness and other measurables: for the focus I have put in for my own kids I have seen each gain at least 20lbs of muscle in 7 months and take a minimum of 0.71s from their 40yd dash times.

I don't have a name yet for what we do or what I specifically coach but am becoming known as The Coach at the park. Let's make a name together as I want to begin to build with you all and your young athletes. We will have one more 8-week session beginning 10/12/20 - 12/12/20 (skipping Thanksgiving week) and lasting 2-3 days a week. Updates will be through direct contact with you.
