Two Family Members Wilke Shultz Pass on Same Day
Donation protected
We are asking to please help out one of our Members Rebekah Roo Carson "Bekah" with the upcoming funeral expenses. Her family and she are dealing with the loss of two beloved family members. No amount is too small and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, heaven gained two more Angels. Death has rocked our faith multiple times before but our family holds fast to God’s never-ending love. He knew long before that this day would come. Our cries of sorrow have not fallen on deaf ears. Our tears of pain are being wiped away by the hands of the all-knowing.
Larry was a Husband, a Father, and a Grandfather but most of all he was a man of God. Until his last breath, he lived to honor the God that gave him life, strength, and devotion. He was a courageous fighter and an example to my Mom before she passed that the Lord will always be a rock when the fight becomes tough. The Lord blessed him with two beautiful daughters and almost 61 years of marriage. He fought his race in life with his head held high. For 35+ years he lived with the worldly demon known as Huntington’s disease. With no cure and very little treatment available his days of mobility and speech were ticking down. I grasped at every chance to get to know him in my adult yrs. Even when he became bedridden he was a light in the room and still held that All American Dad and man of the house title. His love for the family was evident whenever he saw or heard us. I wish we had longer to gain insight into his worldly knowledge and faith. He is the face of Valor and will forever be my Hero.
Our dear Annie was a daughter, sister, cousin, and very proud Auntie. She was the sunshine in our family the moment God picked my parents to be hers forever. Annie was a fiery Daddy’s girl. She wasn’t afraid to test the limits but had so much respect for the knowledge she gained from our parents. Annie was my best friend and my shadow growing up. We shared early childhood stories but it didn’t matter that we looked different, or had different birth parents than Shannon and Zack. The four of us had a bond that you couldn’t break even if you tried. Our sister Shannon was Annie’s “baby”. Her heart overflowed with love for this family. She was proud to be a Wilke and to have a place in our deep history. I’m pretty sure Annie and my brother were the only ones who laughed at my dad’s jokes and shared his love of Godzilla movies. She was a simple person with a love of old films, nature walks, farmers' markets, pizza, and the ocean. As many will attest to, she was always seeking out the lost and the sad so that she could offer words of encouragement, prays for peace and guidance and loads of hugs. Annie hugged hard and long making sure you knew she was there for you. As the days pass I miss her phone calls and texts when she insisted I tell her how I was doing. She was a doting Auntie and loved her nieces and nephew more than words can describe. Always ready to swoop them off their feet for a quick dance in her arms as she told them how much she loved them and how lucky they were that God chose our family for each of them. The Lord did well when He made my sister Annie and now that she is back in his presence and made whole again there is peace in my heart. The void on earth is enormous but I would never ask her to trade what she has in Heaven.
