U. S. Veteran Work Trailer/ Equipment Stolen
CBS Channel 4 Denver Colorado
KDVR Fox 31 Denver
It feels like we've been kicked in the gut with both feet from a mule. My name is Shawn Howell, I am the Owner of S&S Concrete and Restoration. On 12/2/2019 my work trailer was stolen from a job site on Glencoe/Colfax. It had been ripped away and stolen by Thieves in the middle of the night without a trace. The criminals took everything we had built and worked for the last 10 +years. Everything needed to work was in that trailer. It is the heart and soul that allows me to earn a living for my family, and for the employees that work for me. We are devastated. We have jobs that we must fulfill immediately and are at a loss of how we are going to move forward and keep our doors open.
I was encouraged by CBS 4 news , KWGN 2, KDVR Fox 31 and some other local friends to put this together. Please know that this is the hardest ask for me. I am a Veteran and a former firefighter. My comfort lies in service, not in asking. That being said, please know, I will soldier on. Never give up. We spend a lot of time in our community donating time work and hours on special projects. Earlier this year we donated a lot of time and hours on a restoration project for a church. I hope to come full circle and be able to contribute in this way again soon. Right now, I need to get myself and my crews back to work. Our immediate lies in our specialty tools, and that's what any funds raised will be immediately used for; Prep/Master 30/30 Grinders for concrete, HEPA rated Pulse VAC 311 Pro Series, Standup Bagger and 20 gallon Canister, Specialized 8" Edco Gas Scarifier to name a few.
