Woolton Swimming Club Fundraiser for Level Water
“First of all, many thanks to everyone who wants to join in with this Sponsored Swim. It is for such a great cause and it would be absolutely lovely see everyone trying their best and having a great time!
My name is Charlotte Young. I am 14 and I have been swimming in Woolton Swimming Club since I was five years’ old. I am so happy when I am in the pool and I wanted to help people who struggle with swimming to experience that freedom too. I found out about a fantastic charity which provides one to one swimming lessons for children with disabilities so I thought it would be a great idea to raise some money for them.
All of our Club swimmers will set personal targets to swim as many lengths as they can at our weekly club sessions Mon 27th November and Wednesday 29th November. As Woolton Swimming Club was established in 1895 I have challenged myself to swim 1895 metres (that's 76 lengths)."
