Donation protected
Evan Woodward, 16, and Taylor Christie, 20, were both killed in a single-car crash in Marion, NY on Monday, November 20, 2017. Both died after striking a tree off of Ridge Chapel Road at approximately 5:15 pm. The boys had both lossed their father, Sam Christie, to a blood clot only five months prior to their deaths. Evan was a junior at Marion High School, Taylor had graduated from the same school in 2015. Both boys had played basketball in school, Evan was also an avid soccer player who had recently played a game to honor his late step-father. Evan was loved by all of his friends and family and was well liked by those in his community. Taylor was living at home to help out his mother over the loss of her husband, he was also an avid artist. Both boys were loved by all those around them and their loss has dramatically impacted their community. The funds collected through this campaign will be donated to their mother, Stephanie Christie, to help her with funeral costs and to give her additional support in her time of need.
