Woodman Family Campaign

Donation protected
At 3AM on October 9th in Santa Rosa, CA, my parents, Melinda and Bill Woodman and sister, Megan Woodman were awakened by a phone call from a neighbor telling them to get out of the house immediately- the Fountain Grove Area, and their neighborhood was on fire.

They escaped with their dog, cat and the clothes on their backs.  Everything else was left behind.  My family lived in this home for nearly 18 years and in it were irreplaceable items from our beloved Grandmother, Gabby as well as a lifetime of photos and memories of my parent's nearly 50 years together, not to mention life's essentials.

This morning we learned the house and the entire neighborhood and hillside consisting of hundreds of homes is a complete loss (#TubbsFire, #SantaRosaFire).  To complicate matters, Megan lost her car and all of her belongings and is not covered by my parent's insurance plan.

Today marks the start of a long road to recovery and rebuilding for my family and for so many others in the region.   I am really not sure what it might cost to replace everything.  They will need to find a place to rent indefinitely as they rebuild, replace a car and rebuild their home.

Many dear ones have already asked how they can help, what can be done.  This is the fastest, way I can conceive of to get them started on the road to normalcy.   Funds will be used mainly to replace Megan's car and belongings.  Any excess funds will be donated to the benefit of other victims of the Tubbs Fire.  Thank you for anything you can do.
