Woodbine Sawmill Flood Relief

Donation protected
On August 31st, Woodbine Saw Company saw catastrophic flooding. At around 5pm, the family owned business was quickly submerged in water. In less than 20 minutes, the shop became part of the Muddy Creek- With over five feet of water soaking up equipment, tools, lumber, and logs. Thankfully, the owners, Bob and Nadine Cooper- as well as their children’s home were spared from the damages.
For the next few hours, the family stood by helpless as their livelihood floated away.
The Cooper’s have owned Woodbine Saw for over 30 years. This family owned and operated business has been servicing small equipment engines and providing lumber for the community 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The damages done by the recent flooding has washed away a great deal of the company. The family is now turning to the community for help in restoration. So many people have showed up to help clean the mess- from throwing out damaged property to shoveling excessive amounts of mud. The Cooper’s are amazed and eternally grateful for the support already! The family knows the long road to recovery is ahead of them. They are asking the community to help in a very humble way. The next time you need a chain saw, lawn mower, or other equipment serviced or repaired, please consider bringing your business to Woodbine. Thank you to everyone who has already shown so much support and kindness. It means everything to the Cooper Family.

The donations received will be given to Woodbine Sawmill to help them recover from the equipment and damage done so they can start to serve you again!
