Women in Urban Forestry around the world are making big strides for the future!
A group of Women in the Industry in the Pacific Northwest have organized a Women's Networking Evening for delegates of the upcoming International Urban Forestry Congress in Vancouver (September 30 – October 3, 2018).
Our goal is to provide a space for women working in the realm of Urban Forestry and Arboriculture to meet, share ideas, build community and empower one another to foster a bright, inclusive and equal future. To offset organizing costs and help make this gathering possible, we hope to partner with supportive sponsors.
Money raised will cover expenses for the event the evening of October 1st 2018 at IUFC. Any additional funds will be carefully used for further events, education and/or the development of an organization in the Pacific Northwest for Women in Arboriculture. We appreciate any efforts towards reaching our goal. Please contact us if you have any questions.
