Wolves Walk For Leukaemia
Donation protected
As a huge Wolves fan, Thursday 6th July was such a terribly sad day as it was for the whole footballing community. The day it was announced our popular goalkeeper, one of our very own after spending his entire career to date at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Carl Ikeme had been diagnosed with Acute Leukaemia. Truly devastating news that I and the whole Wolves family are still struggling to come to terms with. I cannot begin to understand or comprehend what Carl & his family are now going through.
I'm sure we all have family or know someone who has faced similar battles with the sickening illness that is cancer. Myself & fellow supporters just want to show strength, help, support & raise awareness in any way we can for Cure Leukaemia. @CureLeukaemia CureLeukaemia.Co.Uk
We will embark on a walk to the home game Vs Middlesborough, fitting that it's a former club of Carls. The walk will begin in Cannock ending at Molineux Stadium. This walk is to help raise awareness and further show strength & unity as a 'Wolves Family' for Carl and his battle to come with this awful illness.
For now attention must turn to the battle ahead. The battle with this horrible illness that The Big Man 'will win', With his heart, courage and determination that he's shown all his career and with all of us right by his side every step of the way.
You've given us so much over the years Carl now it's our turn.
I ask you to donate what you can... however small.
The Wolves Family loves you Carl.
