<div><strong>Help Wolde Kristos Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As Hurricane Melissa unleashed its fury on Bluefields, Jamaica, Wolde Kristos and four members of his family took refuge in a small bathroom—the only place they believed might protect them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For hours, they listened as powerful winds battered their home. Walls cracked. The roof began to fail. Piece by piece, the three-bedroom house Wolde had worked a lifetime to build was torn apart around them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Huddled together in the darkness, they prayed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When the storm finally passed and they stepped outside, they found devastation. Their home had completely disappeared. Their belongings were gone. Everything they had built over decades had vanished in a single night.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By God's grace, they survived.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Aside from the clothes on their backs and their life everything else was lost.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Hurricane Melissa took:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Their family home
</li>
<li>Wolde's hospitality business and primary source of income
</li>
<li>Vehicles essential for transportation and work
</li>
<li>Furniture, appliances, clothing, and cherished personal belongings
</li>
<li>The financial stability and security he had spent decades creating for his family
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, Wolde faces the daunting task of rebuilding from the ground up. What was lost cannot be replaced overnight, but with the support of compassionate people, he can begin the long journey toward restoring a safe home, rebuilding his livelihood, and creating a future for his family once again.
</div>

<div><strong>A Message From Wolde</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"As Hurricane Melissa tore through Bluefields, my family and I huddled together in a small bathroom while our home collapsed around us. It was the most frightening experience of our lives. By God's grace, we survived, but we lost everything we had worked for over a lifetime. We are grateful for every prayer, every act of kindness, and every person who chooses to support us as we begin the difficult journey of rebuilding."

</li>
<li>Westmoreland Organic Farmers Friendly Society
</li>
</ul>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>• More than 280 housing units for families in need
