Angel's Fund

This is Angel. She is a 9 week old Italian Greyhound puppy. Less than a week after she was purchased, she developed symptoms very similar to parvovirus (multiple tests have been negative) and became septic and developed disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). She has been fighting for her life since late Saturday (4/16/16) night. Tonight (Monday 4/18/16) she is in oxygen due to pulmonary edema from her low proteins and fluid needs, but actually looks the brightest she has since this started. Her owners are running out of funds to continue treatment and we (one of the veterinary clinics that has been caring for her) are trying to help. Her owners are a wonderful elderly couple with health problems, and the vet clinic employees are helping transport Angel from our ER to her regular veterinarian and back again, and the ER helped as much as it could with reducing the fees. After telling Angel's story on my Facebook page, some of my friends suggested we set up a fund for the owners. So I did. I will make sure all donations go to Angel's expenses.
