Rick's Medical Fund

Ricky has had to have a device called a ventricular assist device implanted for his heart. It helps take some of the work load off the heart.  This device is whats called a bridge to transplant. He is on the transplant list as 1B .  He has had many setbacks and numerous hospitalizations. I am his wife and  cannot work at my job as I am his primary caregiver.  Our daughter is his back up caregiver and has had to miss a lot of work. We have to drive and stay 4 1/2 hours away from our home to be where he can get the care he needs.  while there we have to pay for some meals, laundry, gas. Lodging is provided thankfully. we just have to pay our bills while not working.  My daughter is behind on her bills and is getting collection calls. I will soon run out of money from the job I've had to take unpaid leave from. We are very appreciative of any help anyone can provide. It would be wonderful not to have to worry about money while having to worry about the health of our husband and father.
