WNFR Flag Girl Competition

I am Maxine Harris, I am trying out to be a WNFR flag girl. I have been working on this goal to be able to carry sponsor flags at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo since I was 14, when I won my first rodeo royalty title. Hundreds of girls around the country submitted videos and applications to be picked as one of the top 10 girls who get to travel to Las Vegas in December 2017 to try out for the few spots available to be a flag girl in the 2018 WNFR. I have been picked as one of the 10 girls! It was financially not an option for me to try out for Miss. Rodeo Colorado in college, so this is my shot at getting my foot in the door to run down the alley way of the Thomas and Mac arena. Dreams only become a reality if you don't give up on them! This is my chance to make my dreams a reality! I want to blog this journey to help empower and teach young girls that nothing is impossible if you keep chipping away at it! I have been overwhelmed by the love and support I have received to get this far but I am in need of a little more assistant to do the best possible job I can! It humbles me that so many of you have reached out in the short amount of time the results have been posted. Anything helps at this point but if you are unable to donate the moral support is just as important as I begin to prep for this opportunity! Thank you again!! ❤️❤️❤️
