Help Save My Dog’s Life – Emergency IV Fluids and Diagnostics

Hi, my name is Niki Smith, and I’m fundraising to help save my dog, Sage. He is not just a pet, he is my family and my best friend. During my darkest days, Sage helped to bring me around. He made me get out of bed and go outside when I hadn’t in months. Whenever I have a panic attack, he will come lay on my chest and make sure I’m calm. He has been my lifeline since getting him in 2021. He’s always looking out for me, and I’m calling on the world to help look out for him.

Right now, Sage is very sick and needs urgent veterinary care, including IV fluids, diagnostics and surgery. Without this treatment, he will not survive. The situation has progressed quickly, and the costs are more than my family can manage on our own.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

• Emergency IV fluids and hospitalization

• Necessary ultrasounds and surgery

• Medications and post-surgery care

Sage has seen two different vets and they are unable to determine what is wrong with him without further testing such as ultrasound and endoscopy preformed by a specialist in internal medicine. Sage has an appointment with said specialist on January 6, 2026. However, it is more than likely Sage is going to need intravenous medication’s and fluids to get him to that appointment.

Every dollar raised will be used to give Sage a fighting chance and to keep him comfortable while receiving care.
