Help A Family in Gaza Evacuate & Start Over

Dear friends, family and kind supporters,

I am communicating with you with great urgency and desperation. I am from Gaza City, Palestine and I am currently in Egypt. I was in Egypt to complete my studies, and now I am stuck here, without my family, anxious and alone.

I am asking for your help to raise the necessary funds for the emergency evacuation of my family, consisting of 9 members: my father, my mother, and my younger brothers and sisters.

We were originally from Khan Yunis, but my family was displaced several times during the war. They are currently residing in a small apartment with dozens of their other relatives and are living in very harsh conditions.

We lost everything in this war: our home, our work, our studies, and our future. Now all of my brothers can no longer continue their studies.

With the announcement of the ground entry into Khan Yunis, my family lacked safe shelter and had to evacuate the Gaza Strip. Help us please.

With your support and generosity, we aim to raise a target amount of €40,000. The funds will be allocated for the following purposes:

- Permits and transit fees required to leave Gaza at the Egyptian-Gaza border in Rafah ($5,000 per person over the age of 16 and $2,500 for those under that). For my family, this will cost us $35,000. This cost does not include other unknown fees associated with the process of leaving Gaza.

- Residence in Egypt in Cairo and money for resettlement again.

- GoFundMe transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30 per donation).
