Adam's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
At first, Adam's parents thought he may have had childhood arthritis, a genetic trait carried by his family, so they sought out blood testing. Ultimately, the blood tests came back resulting in something much more severe. On September 11th, 2020, 8 year old Adam Morgan officially began his fight against Leukemia by receiving his first chemotherapy treatment at the UC Davis Cancer Center. Understandably, the Morgan's were not expecting such a devastating diagnosis and currently are relying on a very small Health Savings Account (HSA) to get them by. They will be traveling to the UC Davis Cancer Center, a 3 hour drive, on a weekly basis as well as traveling to Chico for blood draws. THEY NEED YOUR HELP. Please consider donating to the Morgan family, who will be on the journey toward remission and recovery for at least 2 1/2 years while Adam receives chemotherapy and other medical treatments. All proceeds will go toward the medical costs, travel, and secondary lodging expenses. If you would like to donate cash, please contact the organizers of this fundraiser - Whitney Maez and Christina Russo. Adam is 8 years old and in 2nd grade. He loves mountain biking and being outdoors with his little brother, Isaac. His father, Alec, is a 5th grade teacher and his mother, Courtney, works with middle and high school youth. They live in Quincy, California.
