Windsor Locks Historic Train Station

Amtrak's Great American Stations Profile
Windsor Locks has acquired the historic station on our Main Street from Amtrak. The station has been vacant for thirty years but will be a prime feature in a new train platform that will be constructed in the vicinity of the historic station. The station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We need $1,000,000 in order to restore the station. We are hoping to secure some additional state and foundation grants but will also need donations from individuals and familites.
If you are a train or train station fan please help our small town of 12,000 residents preserve a piece of our history.
