Our friend and former nanny for the boys Valerie, has had gone though an extremely difficult year to put it mildly. A single mother of two little girls, 3 & 5, she had to uproot her family and move back to NC suddenly last December. With their stuff in storage they have been staying with family members while saving up for an apartment.
Valerie has been working multiple jobs, including an overnight shift, to support her girls. Last week she was finally able to pay a deposit for their own apartment only to find out that hurricane Florence had flooded their storage unit. Almost all of their possessions have been ruined, including beds, dressers, toy storage unit, dining table, home decor, pillows, clothes, and toys.
This super mama can really use some help in replacing some of these home essentials. Any dollar you can donate will be a big help to this beautiful family get their new home furnished and replace some personal items and toys.
