WKF/Hanminjok Hapkido HQ Rebuild

On the evening of December 14, 2017, a fire broke out in Seoul, South Korea in our WKF/Hanminjok Hapkido Assocation Headquarters. Fortunately, no one was injured due to the fire. However, there was significant damage to the dojang and our office space. While the losses incurred due to fire are unfortunate and will take time to recover from, we will persevere and will come out stronger as we move into the future.

The HQ team, led by Master Scott Seo, has already cleaned out the damage caused by the fire after three straight days of non-stop effort. In addition, many of the Hanminjok Hapkido Association schools in Korea have conducted fundraisers to donate to the rebuild of the HQ. Thank you to our Korea-based members for your support!

Many of our international WKF members have asked us how they can support the rebuild from afar, which is why we have established this GoFundMe page.

All donations will go towards one of these areas:

1. Building infrastructure (ceiling, walls, flooring)
2. Office supplies, furniture, equipment
3. Dojang materials such as mats, equipment, flooring etc.

We appreciate all the positive energy and support thus far, so thank you!
