<div>Over the summer, our big sister Danielle left a domestic violence situation with her two beloved dogs by her side. During this volatile relationship, she had her fingers broken, causing permanent disability in her dominant hand, she was physically, and emotionally abused, and had a gun put to her head on multiple occasions.

<div>She recently had the courage to leave her abuser and has since been living in her vehicle, which not only acts as her home, but also her mode of transportation for Door Dashing every day.

<div>Last month, after experiencing abnormal bleeding, Danielle went into Planned Parenthood with her concerns. They scheduled her for a uterine biopsy and a Pap Smear, since she hadn’t had one in a few years. Her results came back and she has been diagnosed with Endometrioid adenocarcinoma FIGO grade 1 cancer and will need a hysterectomy to remove the cancer. Recovery from surgery will take 6-8 weeks and Danielle and her dogs will need somewhere safe to recover during this time.

<div>As of now, Danielle does not have health insurance and has been denied Medi-Cal due to the money she makes Door Dashing, which is enough to barely survive in California. She has been unable to afford housing since leaving her relationship, and has no friends or family in the area.

<div>Having the hysterectomy is going to bring many challenges. While we are SO thankful Danielle’s cancer is considered low grade, she lives across the country from her siblings, who are all she has. Moving across the country to be closer to her siblings is not an option at this time.

<div>The recovery for her surgery will keep her out of work for up to 6 weeks as her job is physical. All funds raised by the GoFundMe will be used towards medical bills already acquired, the bills that will continue to come, and a safe place to recover from surgery.
