Sophias medical and service expenses

Hi my name is Michelle and I have been Sophia’s best friend for 38 years.

Exactly one year to the date from her initial diagnosis we received the devastating news that Sophia‘s breast cancer has metastasized to her bones. This was causing her to have unbearable pain in her chest and pelvis. Though this was a setback, we remained hopeful that our prayers would be answered and the doctors could give us more time. Unfortunately, we were recently delivered the news that we all feared. Sophia‘s cancer has invaded her body and there is nothing more that can be done. We had to make the difficult decision to bring her home on hospice. As Sophia‘s best friend, it pains me to watch helplessly as George, Chris, Natasha, and Karlie prepare for the unthinkable life without Sophia. The purpose for this go fund me is to help alleviate financial strain and burdens of medical bills and services. All funds raised will go directly to George and the family.

Update:

On the morning of April 1st 2023 Sophia entered eternal rest. She was surrounded by those closest to her.

The outpouring of love and support that Sophia and the family have been shown is remarkable. It is evident that not only did Sophia touch lots of lives but that she was loved and will be missed by many.
