With home repairs and hotel stay along with bills

IG and FB Friends, D9 friends (she is a Zeta), NCAT Aggies, Educators, Social Workers, and Jack and Jill moms and associates,

I am appealing to you on behalf of a dear family friend who has suffered unimaginable trials this year that she has faced with faith and grace!

This beautiful young lady was planning to marry the love of her life on September 17th this year, move into their dream home, and begin their happily ever after. However, tragedy struck and she unexpectedly lost her fiancé, who had no prior known health issues.

Instead of moving forward in the life they envisioned together, she found herself planning a funeral with unanticipated costs, figuring out what could and could not be cancelled amongst their wedding plans, and stuck in a new home build contract.

On Sunday, November 6th, LaTasha’s home was struck by a vehicle that hit a transformer, her home, and another home while she was in the house and upstairs. We praise God for her safety, but also for support and help from community members.

LaTasha is a dedicated school mental health coordinator who works tirelessly to improve the lives of so many young people. She has endured and is navigating so many trials at this time and the costs she is facing are simply astronomical.

Although the driver was insured, the coverage is inadequate to address the needed repairs for her home (and the other).
